Lightweight
The Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe infant car seat weighs less than 16 pounds, making it one of the lightest seats in our collection. In our sled test the Maxi-Cosi Micoluxe scored an excellent safety score and performance, with a lower G-force in both the chest and head sensors than any of the other seats we tested (shown in black). It also had the lowest number of G-forces recorded in the chest sensor in the rear-facing configuration, which is perfect for infants.
However, it's not our favorite infant seat, since it has the lowest rear-facing limits, as well as a short headrest that means children will outgrow it before reaching the top of its height limit.
